1) Fellowship

25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. - Heb 10:25

Gathering in small groups allows each member to be connected to one another and to encourage one another in our Christian walk.  Such a network of close Christian friends who meet weekly also provides the emotional and spiritual fuel for the challenges of our Christian walk.  We encourage, correct and model the Christian life for one another.

2) Digging deeper into God’s words ourselves

11 Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.  Acts 17:11

We believe that it is not just important to listen to the preacher but all must take time to read the Bible regularly and do the hard work of applying the Bible to their lives.  The adult groups teach the important skills of Bible reading and each member helps one another get to the heart of what God is saying through His word.

Accordingly, BTPC runs bible studies which run parallel to the sermons being preached at our big meetings on Sundays.  We call this “synchronized” Bible studies.

Our groups meet during weekday nights as well as Sunday mornings after services.  They are situated at various parts of Singapore – South, Central, North, East – to allow easy access.
